Deryl Dodd
Q. Who are some of the bands or artists you were influenced by, maybe now and when you were starting out?
- William, Bryan
A. Influenced by legends such as: Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, & Lynard Skynard. Current fan of Randy Rogers, Jack Ingram, and Robert Earl Keen.
Q. What are your favorite gadgets to play with when you’re out on the road (cell phone, laptop, PDA, sidekick, iPod, videogames, etc)?
- Sarah, Anderson
A. Deryl likes to play with his guitar player, he hides his food and plays other pranks on him. He doesn't have many gadgets to fool around with. He does enjoy his hot tub on his bus.

A. The Alman Brothers "Anthology". Pauline said that she worked with them recently and had a fantastic time.

Q: What is the most embarrassing cd that you own? -- Greg, Hearne, TX
A: Wade said the Garth Brooks box set and a Pink cd are a few that he owns that he's embarrased by.
Q: What is the favorite song that you have written? -- Alice, Navasota, TX
A: His favorite's are "Mystery of a Woman" & "One Step Closer"
Q: Since June 15th is Waylon's birthday..what's your favorite Waylon song?? -- Chris, Bryan, TX
A: "I've Always Been Crazy" & "You Asked Me To"
Q: How are you going to celebrate your first father's day? -- Kasey, College Station, TX
A: Wade's father is coming to New Braunfels to visit. They are going to play golf, watch the US Open, and then Wade will do an accoustic show that night and the whole family is going to be there.

Matt Martindale of Cooder Graw
1) Most memorable moment on stage? Most embarrasing? - Jamie, Rockdale, TX
A. Matt says his most memorable moment was at Love and War in Plano, TX when Tommy Alverson, Mike Martin Murphy, and Rusty Weir joined him and the other guys on stage for an amazying FOUR hour show. Matt also says that he's had many embarrasing moments on stage that he's tried to block out and has had therapy for. (He was joking) He said sometimes his voice will go out later in a show and that's pretty embarrasing for him.
2) What do you do when you are not touring or playing music? - Jacob, College Station
A. Matt says when he's not touring he spends time with his wife and two daughters doing day to day things. He does the grocery shopping, takes them swimming, ballet practice and even coaches soccer. Matt does say that even when he's not touring he does spend his off time involved in writing his music. He looks for creative ideas to write and cultivate his craft.
3) Fave alcoholic beverage? Non-alcoholic beverage? - Katie
A. He loves Tuaca and cheap canadian mist. As far as non-alcoholic, he likes to rehydrate with gatorade. ¶ 2:04 PM 0 comments
